Feeding the Toad

Last night was soo nice out we decided to have dinner outside. I loved it!! It made me so happy to come out with the last dish and see my family sitting around laughing outside. This is one reason why I love living in Canada, we never forget how cold or long the winter is so we love to enjoy this warmer weather .

We ate dinner and the kids were awesome, Toad had some issues eating cuss he was talking a lot (surprise) as well as taking in the backyard, he said he was done as soon as Rob started to water plants.

I asked him to take some of leftover bread from dinner and toss it on the lawn for the birds. He did a great job taking each little piece in his hand and placing it on the grass, he was so proud when he returned with the empty plate. I thanked him and took the rest of the dishes in and took Lovely up for a bath. Her room faces the back yard and I just happened to take a peek outside and saw something that made me laugh sooo hard.
The toad was back in the grass picking up the bread and.................... eating it !

Poor kid too bad his parents don't feed him! He has to eat the birds food..
